A: There are numerous benefits to membership, a few of them are the camaraderie of fellow U of I alumni, a chance to network with local peers, and taking part in local activities throughout the year.
Q: What is the club's affiliation with the University of Illinois Alumni Association (UIAA)?
A: We are a fully recognized member of the Alumni Association and we work closely with them to keep abreast of University issues of interest to local alumni. In addition, the Phoenix Illini Club was voted by the UIAA as "Large Club of the Year" 2 of the last 3 years!
Q: How often do you meet?
A: It varies throughout the year. During the summer months we recognize that many people have family plans and like to get out of the heat. As such there are fewer events in the summer than the rest of the year. During football/basketball season, events occur during most games. A: There are over 3,000 U of I alumni living in the Valley of the Sun.
